A café where the cultural programme matters.

Ágora is a café with a cultural life of its own. Founded and led by LGBTQ+ women, it brings food and coffee together with books, poetry, music, workshops and the simple pleasure of having somewhere to meet.

There are two easy ways to use it: a café table for conversation, or a date in the forum programme. A quiet afternoon and a performance morning can feel like different visits to the same place.

Conversation, women-led queer culture and a café plan with something happening.

Books, games and a table for conversation

A September visitor describes books to read or buy, games and mostly small tables, with room to join tables for a group. That makes Ágora more of a place to settle into than a quick takeaway stop.

Lunch and a show need their own space

Recent comments like the setting, while some question portions or describe a slower meal during an event. Leave time for food before a performance, and read whether a show ticket includes breakfast or only the stage programme.
